Newborn Hummingbird Facts

 
 

Hummingbirds are born black and have no hair or feathers. Newborns are about the size of a penny and can fly by 3 weeks. They become adults in under a month. They need nectar seven times an hour for energy but also eat spiders and bugs for nutrients. Usually, a hummingbird lays 2 eggs.
